Egypt on Tuesday decided to solve the State Security Investigation, who led his reputation of committing brutal practices and sparking an uprising toppled President Hosni Mubarak's rule Last month.
The news agency said the Middle East, said the Interior Ministry abolished the State Security Investigation "all departments, branches and offices in all governorates of the Republic and established a new sector in the ministry under the name of (the national security sector)."
She added that the new sector "to maintain respect on the national security and cooperation with state agencies concerned to protect the safety and the home front and the fight against terrorism in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the law and the principles of human rights and freedom."
